Family Vacation 2013

We had a great Family Vacation. We went to the Grand Canyon and Mesa Verde and ended in Moab, Ut.
I can tell ya the drive there was very, very, very, long. 14 hours in a car with a 6 month old and a 3 year old is a challenge all its self. But we made it.

The drive wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It went by pretty fast. Thank goodness for the DVD player in the car for Zoey and the noise from the dvd player would put Gavin to sleep so he slept the whole time it seemed.

We did stop and look at some of cool sites we saw on the side of the road. They were really neat to think people build these and lived in them. Zoey had a blast climbing on the rocks and looking in the houses.

We didn't spend much time at the campsite but when we were there we had fun. The kids would find dirt to play in and have tons of fun. All the kids had so much fun playing together.
    .........

While we would pack of the car to move to the next camp stop all the kids would cram in my car and watch movies........ i'm not going to lie it was nice then you don't have to worry about them while trying to pack the car the same way you went up so you can fit everything in..... I loved seeing them cuddle together. They sure love each other like sisters.

Grand Canyon!

This was Zoey's favorite Tower.... It reminded her of the tower in the movie Tangled. She loves that movie. We watched I know like 20 times the whole trip.

These are just some of the thousands of pictures taken........ I just thought i would show you a few. When you looked at the Canyon it looked like a big painting, it looked fake. But it was so Beautiful. Next time I would love to hike down into the Canyon. I will wait tell the kids are older to do that.

Mesa Verde'

Mesa verde was fun. I would love to go back again. The tours we went on were so neat. It's amazing to hear how the people lived and how they built these by hand and lived in them. I'm glad I got to go these tours with my Family and have fun.

These were some of the ladders we had to climb and we had to climb like 5 or 6 of them total. Zoey did great on them with the help of her Aunt Breanne. I had Gavin and going up on those ladders with a baby attached to you was kind of difficult but I did it and was happy. I was also so proud of my mom who did all of the tours we went on. She was Amazing.

Moab, UT

We ended our week long trip in Moab before heading home.

It was neat to see all the arches. You had to hike of course to the arches and very LONG LONG LONG HOT Hike but we made it and it was well worth it. It was really cool to see them up close.

This little man was a tired one. Lucky or me Uncle Ben was there to help carry Gavin on these long hikes. I'm so happy he helped me out. lol.

We had such a blast and we were all ready to head home and sleep in our beds and take a nice long hot shower. I'm so glad I got to spend that great time with my Family. I'm so thankful that my family are so close together. I can't wait for our kids to grow up close together and go on these great Adventures. I cant wait to see what next year brings.

The End! :) until next year..........
